What Makes a Brand "Stick?"

Ever wonder why we can’t stop thinking about Apple or Nike, but forget other brands almost instantly? Sticky brands usually nail three things: clarity, consistency, and emotion. According to a recent article from Harvard Business Review, emotional connection is more important than customer satisfaction when it comes to loyalty. Whether it’s storytelling, purpose, or identity, a brand that makes us feel something sticks around longer. That’s something I think about a lot as I learn how to build strong marketing strategies.

Writing for the Web Done Right

I recently took an online course on writing for the web, and wow, I’ve been doing it wrong. One thing that stuck with me is putting the important stuff first. Online readers skim, and if your main point is buried in the middle, you’ve already lost them. This tip helped me rethink how I approach everything from blogs to project write-ups. Whether it's a cover letter or a portfolio piece, clarity up front is key.
